Making Your Blog Stand Out

Make Your Content Stand Out!There’s literally millions of blogs and websites in traffic exchanges, most of which aren’t that great but some are the complete opposite, which one is yours?
Here’s just a few methods and mistakes of making your blog standout in traffic exchanges.

Design & Appearance
Appearance plays a major roll in getting your blog noticed. You should always pay close attention when choosing a theme for your blog. Make sure to choose something that works in the most popular browsers being used today.

Quality Content
Writing quality content will definitely increase your blogs popularity as well as keeping users attached to your site. In traffic exchanges you really want to use your most informative page or article on your site. This will ensure users will get a taste of your content at a glance.

Make sure the page you’re adverting in the traffic exchange is not loaded down with ads or referral banners. Vast majority of bloggers make this mistake, I’d say 98% of blogs in traffic exchanges consist of nothing but a handful of banners and loads of paid per click ads. Most of the time, the surf timer has already finished before all of the banners and advertisements have finished loading on these pages. Tons of advertisements will limit the amount of users whom return to or bookmark your website for later use.

Site Killers
When working with traffic exchange programs to build traffic to your site or blog, there are a few things you can do that could lead to your getting kicked out of the traffic exchange or just generally annoying users so they skip over your site and ignore it all together. Both of which will pretty much waste your time when using traffic exchanges.

Some users like to use videos, this can be a good idea or a horrible idea depending on your video and how you implement it in your blog. Always make sure when implementing a video or any type of background audio that the user has the controls to pause or stop the video as well as a volume setting. On-top of this you should modify your video or audio so that it is NOT loud when a users views the site. A lot of times users will just mute the site and that pretty much defeats the purpose of using these methods.
