CrewBux has now joined the long list of poor paid to click sites. CrewBux used to be one of the larger more trusted paid to click sites until the last few months. It started with payments being pushed later and later and now users are required to give up half of their earnings if they wish to receive anything. In a recent announcement CrewBux has decided that users must invest 50% of what they have earned in order to receive their cashout. Failure to do so can lead to account termination. This new “rule” applies to both standard members and premium members and does not matter whether or not you have purchased referrals or anything else from the site in the past.

It wasn’t too long ago CrewBux went down for several days, promising instant payments as a new feature when they returned, they returned alright but with a new way of screwing their members over and a new site design. All complaints or public questioning of the new practices of CrewBux in the forums at the CrewBux site are removed with users being deleted from the forums and their IP addresses banned.

The admin has resorted to childish name calling including but not limited to racial slurs and obscenities. Users had been very unhappy with the service of CrewBux and the treatment by the CrewBux staff, complaints really began to rise after the announcement of the “cleaning” process of the user database. The original post, posted on the CrewBux forum by the admin read as follows.

The clean up process will start now. I will be deleting those (Standard, Premium, Honest) members who do not wish to invest anything, all those listed below have not participated to the payee grid nor purchased anything since 21 October. I will start by listing the Honest Members, more will be added later. Again if you do not invest within 10 days your account will be deleted without any further notice. You can call us scam but I’m trying to save CrewBux.com

In various threads of the forums and older announcements it was said CrewBux had a new admin, that was when all of this supposedly started, however I have not found out whether or not the change of admin was true or just a blatant lie. This same admin is tied with other paid to click sites and domains such as CrewBuxOnline.com and a few free blogs on wordpress.com to name a few, most of which asking for donations to help support the site. There is also a fan site in existence for CrewBux.

I will be listing all sites related with this admin in time once I have confirmed each, in the mean time all users should avoid this site, it’s bound to go down very soon. I am suprised it’s lasted this long.
